About This Role

Job Purpose:

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Faculty for Work Related Learning at the Secondary School, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will oversee a comprehensive array of subjects within this faculty, which encompasses:

• Business

• Economics

• ICT

• Computer Science

• Additionally, managing all BTEC courses across the school.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that motivate students to achieve their aspirations.

This position requires a creative and innovative leader who is enthusiastic about curriculum development and adept at guiding a diverse and dynamic team. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership team and play a crucial role in enhancing the overall performance of the school.

You will:

• Be a qualified teacher

• Hold a relevant degree in Business or a related discipline

• Have previous experience in leading a department or faculty, or be ready to step into a faculty leadership role

• Have demonstrated experience teaching one or more subjects in the faculty at GCSE/A Level/BTEC

• Stay informed about current best practices in teaching and learning

• Exhibit excellent subject expertise and awareness of the curriculum

• Consider broader curriculum advancements, particularly in digital innovation

• Engage in continuous professional development and share insights with colleagues

• Support and promote the school’s commitment to e-safety
