The Head of EYFS will significantly contribute to:
- Upholding and promoting the ethos and standards of excellence as outlined in the GEMS Core Values.
- Ensuring high academic standards in the Early Years division, with a focus on enabling all students to reach their full potential and a commitment to the UAE National Agenda objectives.
- Developing the school’s aims and objectives.
- Establishing policies aimed at achieving these aims and objectives.
- Overseeing staff and resources to support these goals.
- Monitoring progress towards the school’s aims and objectives.
- Managing budgets and performing teaching and other professional duties as reasonably assigned by the Principal.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the school’s educational strategy.
Skills
- A fully certified teacher with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent qualification.
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
- Extensive experience with the National Curriculum for England.
- Proficient in people development with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
