German Language Teacher
About This Role
We are seeking an exceptional German Language teacher to join the outstanding team at Institut auf dem Rosenberg, a prestigious boarding school. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and creative educator, skilled in teaching German to advanced international students. It is essential to have experience with at least one of the IB, UK, or US educational frameworks and the ability to instruct students from primary through high school levels. Fluency in German is required, and proficiency in additional languages will be considered a significant advantage.
The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and growing Modern Languages Department that offers German language and literature courses across various examination boards.
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
• Employ modern teaching strategies, exhibit effective classroom management skills, and provide differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs.
• Have a solid track record of teaching students at all grade levels.
• Are passionate about developing and applying the Rosenberg International Curriculum.
• Are eager to participate in the extensive Talent & Enrichment programme at Institut auf dem Rosenberg.
• Possess the ability to lead projects and work independently.
• Have experience teaching German at a native level to proficient international students.
Requirements - ideal candidates should have:
• A relevant degree along with a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• A commitment to the ongoing development and excellence of Institut auf dem Rosenberg, alongside a dedication to the school's foundational values and ethos.
