FS Home Room Teacher

The individual in this position is tasked with providing effective classroom instruction aimed at helping students achieve their potential and fostering their interests through innovative activities.

Responsibilities

• Designs the annual curriculum for the designated grade level
• Formulates lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and submits these plans to academic coordinators for their approval
• Evaluates feedback from academic coordinators and makes necessary adjustments to lesson plans
• Stays informed about the latest educational tools, including technological advancements in classroom learning, and incorporates them into teaching methods
• Develops stimulating and interactive learning experiences for students while nurturing a supportive classroom environment that encourages education
• Produces worksheets, handouts, and supplementary materials that correspond with the lesson plan and curriculum, along with assessments and examinations
• Responsible for the prompt grading and evaluation of students' assignments
• Monitors, documents, and communicates students’ progress, achievements, and areas for growth
• Recognizes students who may need extra help, whether academic or otherwise, and ensures they receive appropriate assistance
• Participates in extracurricular activities and engages in school events such as assemblies, meetings, and conferences
• Maintains student safety at all times
• Works collaboratively with fellow educators to exchange fresh ideas, teaching methods, subject matter, and professional insights
• Engages with parents during Parent Teacher Meetings and provides necessary feedback when required
