French Immersion Teacher (Early Years)
About This Role
The ideal applicant will have:
*A valid Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or the necessary qualifications to obtain teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
*Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering instruction across all subjects in an early years French Immersion classroom.
*Fluent command of both French and English, with strong competencies in reading, writing, and speaking in both languages.
*A robust academic background, complemented by a record of successful teaching in early years French Immersion.
*Knowledge in the instruction and assessment of provincial French Immersion curricula.
*A recognition of the importance of acquiring French as a second language.
*Understanding of the K-8 Manitoba Curriculum alongside skills in cross-curricular planning.
*Proof of effective teaching strategies in early years education.
*The capability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team-based and consultative environment.
*Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
*The ability to be a cooperative member of an educational team.
*Strong skills in classroom management.
*A proven ability and experience in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
*The capacity to create programs with a northern perspective.
*Awareness and sensitivity to the traditions and aspirations of students from diverse abilities and backgrounds.
