Job Title: EYFS SEN Teacher
Location: Oakfield House School, Salwick PR4 0YH
Hours:     37.5 per week | Monday–Friday | 8.30am – 4.00pm
Salary:     From £39,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start:       September 2026

At Oakfield house school we’re looking for an exceptional EYFS Teacher to join our dedicated and dynamic team. You’ll have the freedom, flexibility and support to design engaging, hands-on learning experiences tailored to each child. Our school is developing a bespoke curriculum, giving you the opportunity to truly shape how education is delivered for pupils with Learning Difficulties

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver creative, personalised lessons to individuals and small groups

  • Support pupils in developing focus, communication and emotional regulation

  • Track progress and celebrate every achievement—big or small

  • Create a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

  • Help shape and contribute to our evolving school curriculum

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, families and care teams

Who We’re Looking For

You’re more than a teacher—you’re a motivator, innovator and role model.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree-level education

  • Primary-trained with strong teaching fundamentals

  • Calm, engaging and emotionally resilient

  • Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs

  • SEN/ASC experience is desirable—but your attitude, creativity and commitment matter just as much

Oakfield House School is a specialist primary school for autistic pupils and those with additional learning, communication, or behavioural needs. Set in a beautiful 1880s country house with eight acres of parkland, we provide a nurturing and supportive environment. Small classes, sensory spaces, and immersive learning areas ensure personalised support for every pupil. Our experienced staff work with families to help pupils build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

For over 19 years, Options Autism has provided specialist care and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties.
