ADNOC Schools is actively looking for exceptional Elementary Classroom Teachers for the Ruwais Campus (Western Region), with positions available starting in August 2025.

Responsibilities:

- Foster a learning environment that encourages outstanding educational practices.
- Establish clear teaching and learning goals.
- Design engaging tasks that challenge students and stimulate their interest.
- Set high yet achievable expectations for all learners.
- Define clear objectives that build on previous knowledge.
- Recognize students with special educational needs (SEN) or exceptional abilities, ensuring their requirements are met through tailored teaching strategies.
- Structure lessons effectively to maintain pace, motivation, and challenge.
- Utilize assessment as a tool for learning effectively.
- Employ performance data and key indicators to tailor lesson planning and differentiation.
- Uphold discipline according to the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ and promote positive practices regarding punctuality, behavior, work standards, and homework.
- Implement a variety of teaching methods to:
i. Align content with instructional strategies, organize information, present key concepts, and use suitable vocabulary.
ii. Employ effective questioning techniques, actively listen to students, and address errors and misconceptions.
iii. Select appropriate learning materials and foster study skills using the library, ICT, and other educational technologies.
- Evaluate student achievement of learning objectives and utilize this information to enhance teaching practices.
- Grade student assignments at least biweekly and set targets for their academic progression.
- Use performance data to inform lesson planning, ensuring continued enhancement of learning and teaching.
- Systematically assess and document student progress, maintaining records to monitor comprehension, identify strengths and areas for growth, and inform future planning.
- Conduct assessments as required by examination authorities, departmental standards, and school protocols.
- Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents.
- Engage in subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Stay current in subject knowledge through continuous professional development (CPD) and professional literature.
- Attend relevant professional development workshops as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.

Candidates must be fully qualified teachers with:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
- At least two years of postgraduate teaching experience.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic child education.
- Recent and ongoing participation in extracurricular activities.
- Respect for all members of the school community.
- Experience working with students for whom English is a second language.
- A positive, solution-oriented approach to professional life.
- A clear enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check.
