Are you looking for a Head of Campus role that is both challenging and rewarding? Following the promotion of our current postholder, Hardwick and Cambourne Primary School (HCCPS) is delighted to invite applications for an exceptional Head of Campus to join our unique split-site school.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, ambitious leader with a proven track record of securing strong outcomes for pupils. You will be an excellent communicator and people‑manager, able to motivate and empower staff while making a meaningful difference to children’s lives.

The role would suit an experienced Deputy Headteacher or Senior Teacher ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. You will be well supported by our experienced Headteacher and Head of Cambourne Campus, alongside access to ongoing professional development. In return, you will play a vital role in delivering the highest standards of learning and achievement across the school.

At HCCPS, we believe that every child matters. Our inclusive ethos creates a warm, caring environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and able to flourish. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive leader who will enhance the capacity and energy of our strong leadership team and help drive our vision and standards forward.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for Teaching and Learning and will also carry a small teaching commitment, tailored to the needs of the school.

We are seeking someone who:

is an outstanding classroom practitioner

demonstrates dynamic leadership that inspires and motivates pupils and staff

builds strong relationships and works collaboratively with all stakeholders

is passionate about developing the whole child and promoting pupil voice

inspires high expectations and the highest possible standards

always puts children first and values their views

recognises and celebrates the richness and diversity of our school communities

shares and champions the school’s vision

is a creative, reflective thinker who enjoys problem‑solving and taking thoughtful risks

is committed to the school’s creative approach to learning

can engage and earn the respect of a highly experienced and dedicated staff team

This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity for a leader who is ready to make a real impact within a supportive and forward‑thinking school community.

In return, we offer:

the opportunity to work in a truly unique and dynamic school, providing welcome variety to your working week, meaningful professional challenge, and strong support and development from the Headteacher and wider leadership team

a high‑quality, experienced, and committed staff team of teachers and support staff who are enthusiastic advocates of the school’s innovative, creative, and vibrant approach to learning

happy, confident, and motivated pupils who are proud of their school and eager to learn

excellent support from engaged parents, a committed governing body, and a strong partnership of local schools

Visits to the school are encouraged, and would be highly desirable for you to fully understand the ethos of our school and discover how the unique two-site structure of how our school works effectively.
