About This Role

Park House English School, renowned as one of the oldest and most esteemed British institutions in Doha, Qatar, was established in 1994 by Mrs. Heather Brennan. As we commemorate our 32nd anniversary of delivering exceptional educational services, we are eager to welcome a talented Chemistry Teacher-Local Hire for a short-term assignment (2-4 months) to join our dedicated team of professionals.

The Role

The ideal candidate must be capable of teaching Chemistry up to A Level and will join the Science Department. Readiness to teach across all Key Stages is also expected. Prior experience with GCSE or within the British Curriculum is highly advantageous. Essential qualifications include a recognized teaching qualification and a degree in the relevant subject.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all duties typical of a Secondary School Teacher, which includes acting as a Form Tutor, providing extra-curricular activities, attending after-school planning and professional development sessions, and engaging in school events as necessary. Please note that TEFL/CELTA qualifications will not be accepted.
