Location: Epsom College in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur Campus) & Borneo
Camp Dates:
- Wild Minds Camp (Early Summer): 28 June 2026 > 5 July 2026
- Wild Minds Camp (Late Summer): 5 July 2026 > 12 July 2026
Availability: Teachers are expected to participate in an induction two days prior to the start of the camp.
About the Programme:
Wild Minds Camp presents an innovative 10-day residential experience that blends technology, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial skills. Hosted at Epsom College in Kuala Lumpur and our outdoor learning facility in Borneo, the camp invites students aged 11–17 to delve into Artificial Intelligence, sustainable practices, and social innovation through immersive, hands-on activities.
Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Science and IT Teachers to join our academic team for the Wild Minds Summer Camp. Ideal candidates will develop captivating and interactive learning experiences, mentoring students as they explore emerging technologies, environmental issues, and entrepreneurial concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver captivating and age-appropriate lessons and workshops focused on science, IT, and technology applications.
- Facilitate project-based learning experiences centered on AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
- Supervise and support students during classroom sessions and outdoor activities.
- Participate in fieldwork sessions and excursions.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Contribute to a vibrant camp atmosphere as an enthusiastic and cooperative team member.
Requirements:
- A degree in Science, IT, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification and/or accreditation is preferred.
- Proven experience in delivering technology-focused education to students aged 11–17.
- Experience in residential or outdoor educational settings is a plus.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Asia and/or residential camp environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to innovative education, sustainability, and enhancing student engagement.
