Salary - Grade 9, Scale Points 23 to 26, £31,055 to £33,622 per annum
(FTE £35,570 to £38,510 per annum)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Colne Valley High School as an enthusiastic and dedicated Attendance Leader.
The successful candidate will provide operational leadership of attendance across the school, taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day implementation of the school’s Attendance Strategy. This is a highly proactive, boots-on-the-ground role, working directly with students, families, staff and external agencies to improve attendance and punctuality.
The postholder will be expected to identify concerns early, act quickly, undertake regular home visits and maintain a visible presence both in school and within the local community.
The successful candidate will ensure that students with poor attendance are known, understood, challenged and supported, with clear intervention and escalation where improvement is not secured.
This is a role that requires excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and remain confident under pressure. A problem-solving attitude to work is essential. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude towards team working, have excellent interpersonal skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
