Park House English School, a highly respected British educational institution located in Doha, Qatar, is proud to celebrate its 32nd anniversary since its founding by Mrs. Heather Brennan in 1994. With an impressive track record of achievements, we are currently looking for a committed Assistant Head Teacher for our Secondary School to join our outstanding team of professionals.
The Role
The chosen candidate will be responsible for all aspects of student pastoral care, which encompasses attendance, punctuality, rewards, consequences, and overall student wellbeing. This individual will lead a team of progress leaders, providing support in identifying and addressing student needs to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ideal applicant should also be prepared to teach across all Key Stages in their subject area or in other subjects as required. Experience teaching the British Curriculum up to A Level is highly desirable. A recognized teaching qualification and a degree are essential. Please note that TEFL/CELTA qualifications will not be accepted.
The postholder will report directly to the Head of Secondary and work collaboratively within a dynamic team of Assistant Headteachers to support the holistic development of the school. While maintaining operational leadership of the pastoral division, the successful candidate is expected to engage in all aspects of school life to benefit students, staff, and the leadership team.
