About This Role
FTE: Full-time
Employment Term: Continuing - Starting August 27, 2026
Compensation and Benefits: Salary will align with the provincial salary grid and includes a benefits package featuring subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Relocation support may also be available.
Qualifications:
- Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or evidence of eligibility)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying best practices in instruction, curriculum, environment, and assessment
- Familiarity with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Proven success in collaborating within a team as well as working independently
Ideal Candidates will possess:
- Insight and experience regarding Northern issues
- A minimum of five years of effective teaching experience
- At least five years of successful administrative experience across elementary, middle, and secondary levels
- Graduate-level education in school administration
- Strong capabilities in instructional leadership, organization, interpersonal communication, and general communication
- A firm commitment to the schools and community schools alongside the safe schools initiative
