About This Role
FTE: Full-time
Term of Employment: Ongoing - Starting August 27, 2026
Salary and Benefits: Competitive, aligned with the provincial salary grid, complemented by a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Relocation assistance might also be available.
Qualifications:
- A valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or proof of eligibility)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying effective instructional practices, curriculum development, classroom environment management, and assessment strategies
- Familiarity with the languages, histories, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples
- A track record of successful collaboration within a team setting as well as the ability to work independently
Preferred Candidates will have:
- Insight and experience relating to Northern issues
- A minimum of five years of proven teaching success
- At least five years of effective administrative experience across elementary, middle, and secondary education
- Graduate-level qualifications in school administration
- Strong capabilities in instructional leadership, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, and overall communication
- A steadfast commitment to the school and community schools, along with a dedication to maintaining safe school environments
