About This Role
Bloom World Academy is looking for innovative and skilled educators to fill the position of IB DP History Teacher for the Academic Year 2026/2027.
As an International Baccalaureate educator, you are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering international mindedness within your classroom and contribute to this ethos throughout the school. A solid foundation in, or a keen understanding of, a student-centered inquiry-based learning framework is essential. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal abilities and a history of cultivating and sustaining professional relationships, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
We seek seasoned teachers who are dedicated to empowering each student to thrive and cultivating a classroom atmosphere where all learners can excel. You should be capable of instructing students across a range of abilities and have a proven history of achieving remarkable student outcomes.
While experience with the IB program is highly valued, it is not a prerequisite, as training will be provided. Candidates should have a background in designing rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences, possess a solid understanding of assessment practices in the classroom, and most importantly, have a passion for motivating students to reach their full potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile
•
Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
•
Bachelor's degree in History or a related field, along with a PGCE in Education with QTS or an equivalent qualification
•
Subject-specific experience in an IB or GCSE institution
•
At least three years of teaching experience in a reputable school
•
A history of exceptional student performance
•
Exhibits professionalism, enthusiasm, dedication, and integrity
•
Cultural awareness and strong communication skills, with a passion for engaging with students and families
•
