Raffles International School, Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced Deputy Head for the Secondary School, starting in August 2026.

RIS adheres to the English National Curriculum and prioritizes both academic excellence and student wellbeing. The school has been rated 'Outstanding' by British Schools Overseas, is quality assured by OFSTED, and received a 'Very Good' rating from the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (KHDA).

This position is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will collaborate with both secondary and primary leadership, particularly the Head of Secondary and the Principal.

We welcome applications from senior and middle leaders in education who possess the following qualifications:

• A deep passion for teaching and learning.

• Experience in either senior or middle leadership within a high-performing educational setting.

• A Bachelor’s Degree along with a PGCE with QTS or an equivalent qualification. Additional post-graduate qualifications would be a significant advantage.

• A record of excellence demonstrating a substantial impact on student attainment and progress, curriculum innovation, and community engagement.

• A thorough understanding of best practices in safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive education.

• Proficiency in English as a first language.

• A dedication to fostering creative and imaginative teaching that values the progress of every student.
