About This Role
Position Overview:
We are in search of a committed, enthusiastic, and inspiring Primary School Teacher to become a part of our educational team. As a Prep School educator, you will instruct our Prep 1 to 7 students across a variety of subjects such as English, Maths, Inquiry, and Computing, all within a dynamic and nurturing learning atmosphere. Our students engage with a tailored English Language program that incorporates global best practices and undergo assessments based on The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and internal evaluations of their English language progress. As they advance through the grade levels, our goal is to ensure they are well-prepared for future success in IGCSE examinations. Currently, our students transition to either Bromsgrove School UK for their Senior School education or to other esteemed Senior Schools of their choice.

Qualifications:
1. A university degree (BA/B.Sc) or equivalent;
2. Teacher Qualifications (B.Ed/M.Ed/PGCE/QTS) or equivalent;
3. A minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience;
4. Proficiency in English.

6. Inspire students and colleagues through innovation and collaboration while teaching the BMH English Curriculum.
7. Engage in Co-Curricular Activities to enrich student learning and take part in events that build community, celebrate achievements, and showcase learning to parents.
8. Serve in loco parentis as an English-speaking homeroom teacher alongside a Chinese bilingual homeroom teacher.
9. Primarily teach English, along with some periods of Maths, Inquiry, or Computing (specific arrangements will be dependent on the year group assigned).
10. Receive several planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) periods throughout the week during school hours.
11. Collaborate with a Chinese bilingual banzhuren to lead morning registration, ERIC (Everyone Reading in Class) or Phonics sessions, and the end-of-day Pack and Snack session.

Our campus is located on property owned by Mission Hills, adjacent to the Mission Hills resort in Shenzhen, China. It is conveniently accessible via subway and only a 45-minute journey from Shenzhen City Centre. Hong Kong Island is just a two-hour commute from our location.
