The School
For over 20 years, St. George’s School has been dedicated to serving the international community in Duisburg-Düsseldorf, offering a rich curriculum complemented by a family-oriented environment. What began as a small institution has evolved into a vibrant community of approximately 650 students, aged 2-18, hailing from a diverse array of nationalities.
We implement the National Curriculum throughout our school and offer the IB Diploma in our Sixth Form.
As part of a network of three schools across Germany, St. George’s presents the successful candidate with a wealth of opportunities for professional development and advancement within the school group.

Düsseldorf, the sixth largest city in Germany, is a lively cultural hub with a large and diverse international community. Centrally located in Europe, Düsseldorf provides a high quality of life along with ample opportunities for travel and cultural exploration.
The airport in Düsseldorf is just 15km from the school, offering numerous daily flights to the UK, along with high-speed rail services that connect the city to various European destinations.
The Role
We are eager to appoint a Learning Support Teacher to join our thriving primary department.
This position involves providing high-quality teaching and specialized support for students throughout the Primary School, with an emphasis on SEND and EAL provisions. The role also requires collaborative in-class work with classroom teachers to facilitate inclusive education.
