Responsibilities:
- Provide captivating music lessons that adhere to the UK curriculum for primary students
- Enhance students’ musical abilities, knowledge, and appreciation through hands-on activities and performances
- Create and organize lesson materials that address various learning styles
- Coordinate school concerts, assemblies, and other musical events
- Work in collaboration with colleagues from different departments to enhance the overall educational journey
- Regularly evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an elementary/primary school environment
- Thorough understanding of the UK music curriculum standards
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments is advantageous
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to effectively engage young learners
- Effective communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and staff
