About This Role
Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Performing Arts Teacher to become a part of our vibrant, high-achieving team starting August 2026.
In your role as a Secondary Performing Arts Teacher within an international British curriculum setting, you will be instrumental in providing excellent teaching and learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. While prior experience with GCSE and A Level Performing Arts is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
You will motivate and captivate students through lively and interactive lessons that cultivate skills in drama, movement, and performance, while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, inspiring students to explore, express, and innovate, thus helping them realize their full potential both on stage and in life.

What We Are Looking For:
We are in search of a Performing Arts Teacher who can:
•
Deliver compelling and well-structured lessons that align with the British curriculum.
•
Demonstrate the ability to teach Performing Arts (Drama, Dance, and/or Music) at least to GCSE level, and ideally A Level.
•
Exhibit strong creativity, performance, and critical thinking abilities through inspiring and effective teaching methods.
•
Employ a variety of formative and summative assessment techniques to track, monitor, and support student progress in both practical and theoretical areas.
•
Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental growth, and the development of high-quality teaching resources and performance-based learning experiences.
•
Support students’ academic and pastoral development while promoting the school's values, routines, and high expectations.
•
Establish positive relationships with parents through clear and professional communication regarding student progress, achievements, and next steps.
•
Actively contribute to the growth of Performing Arts within the broader school environment, enhancing its visibility through performances, events, and community involvement.
•
Engage actively in school productions, performances, extracurricular activities, professional development, and broader school initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must:
•
Be fluent in English.
•
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field, along with a PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
•
Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international context.
•
Possess strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.
•
Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
