We are currently seeking an experienced Secondary PE Teacher (Paternity Leave) to join our outstanding team.

About the Role:
In the role of Secondary PE Teacher covering for a period of paternity leave, you will be instrumental in delivering an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum that encourages students to embrace active and healthy lifestyles. Your responsibilities will include planning and teaching lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities, ensuring that all students receive the support, challenge, and encouragement they need to enhance their skills and confidence. You will effectively utilize assessment to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback, upholding high standards for effort, participation, and behavior. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will participate in departmental sporting events, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs, fostering a culture of teamwork, fair play, and physical well-being.
This position is a temporary, full-time role covering paternity leave, with a start date of 31/08/2026.

Who We Are Looking For:
We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a genuine passion for working with young people. You should possess strong organizational skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to adapt to change with professionalism and sensitivity. Your understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies within PE will guide you in helping all students achieve their personal best, regardless of their ability levels. You will hold a UK-approved PGCE or an equivalent international qualification and demonstrate a commitment to your own professional growth. Above all, you should have a natural enthusiasm for Science and the determination to inspire every learner.
