The Role
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher who can engage and inspire students in Year 5 to Year 8 through innovative and effective teaching methods. This role presents an exciting chance to be part of our rapidly growing network of schools.
• Instruct Mathematics for Year 5 to Year 8 following the British curriculum.
• Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
• Participate in curriculum planning and the advancement of progressive teaching methodologies.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback.
• Cultivate a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist students in building strong numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning capabilities.
• Engage in enrichment activities and contribute to the broader school community.
Qualifications and Experience
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.
• A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching Mathematics within a British curriculum school.
• Strong skills in classroom management and lesson planning.
• A high level of motivation and a genuine passion for teaching Mathematics.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience in preparing students for Key Stage 3 progression.
• Proven teaching experience in the UK.
• Recent experience in UK or international schools.
• Training in child protection.
