Assistant Head Teacher - Secondary School

Park House English School, one of the most esteemed British educational institutions in Doha, Qatar, is celebrating its 32nd year of excellence since its establishment in 1994 by Mrs. Heather Brennan. With a rich history of notable achievements, we are now seeking a dedicated Assistant Head Teacher for our Secondary School to join our exceptional team of professionals.

The Role

The selected candidate will oversee all elements related to student pastoral care, which includes attendance, punctuality, rewards and consequences, as well as overall student wellbeing. This individual will manage a team of progress leaders, actively assisting them in recognizing and addressing student needs to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate should also be willing to teach across all Key Stages within their subject area or in other subjects as necessary. Previous experience teaching the British Curriculum up to A Level is highly advantageous. A recognized teaching qualification and a degree are mandatory. Please note that TEFL/CELTA qualifications will not be accepted.

The postholder will report directly to the Head of Secondary and collaborate within a dynamic and adaptable team of Assistant Headteachers to aid in the comprehensive development of the school. While having operational leadership of the pastoral division, the successful candidate is expected to engage in all facets of school life to support students, staff, and the leadership team.
