About This Role

We are excited to invite applications for a highly qualified mathematics teacher, a creative and dedicated professional of exceptional caliber, to join our lively Mathematics Department. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering an enriching, enjoyable, and secure learning atmosphere.

At the School, we firmly believe that all subject educators serve as role models for character and values, with their influence extending beyond the classroom. Therefore, the candidate will engage students in character and values education and actively participate in our vibrant student leadership culture.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a member of the Mathematics Department, you will be part of a team dedicated to ensuring that all students find joy in learning mathematics and tackling problems. The school aims to provide access to IGCSE Additional Mathematics for as many students as possible, focusing on building a solid foundation for their future studies in the IB Diploma Programme and beyond.

Additional responsibilities will include form-teachership duties, where you will collaborate with a colleague to guide a form class by leading Pastoral Care (PC) lessons and acting as the liaison between the school and families. Other pastoral care responsibilities may involve managing or leading after-school clubs and activities.

A minimum of an undergraduate Honours Degree in Mathematics and a recognized teaching certification such as a Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, or equivalent. A postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Statistics is preferred.
