About This Role

King’s School The Crown boasts expansive grounds with top-tier educational and athletic facilities, allowing students to explore a wide array of interests. King’s School The Crown proudly participates in the British Council schools partnership, collaborating with Cambridge to implement the UK national curriculum through to IGCSE. Our school underwent several inspections to ensure compliance with the highest standards set by the Egyptian Ministry of Education, Cambridge, and the British Council. We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Mathematics Teacher at King’s School The Crown. The role is set to commence in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Excellence in Teaching and Learning: Design and deliver engaging, well-organized lessons that stimulate intellectual curiosity, creativity, and academic excellence. Ensure lessons are tailored to meet the varied needs of students, allowing all to achieve exceptional progress in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.


Assessment and Academic Progress: Employ diverse assessment methods to track, evaluate, and enhance student performance. Provide timely and constructive feedback to encourage improvement and maintain a strong commitment to high standards among all learners.


Promoting the King’s Ethos: Embody and promote the values and principles of King’s School The Crown, ensuring that students thrive in an environment that fosters integrity, respect, and a genuine passion for learning.


Professional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across various subjects and phases to share knowledge, develop best practices, and contribute to a culture of professional growth and innovation.


Contribution to School Life: Engage actively in the broader life of the school, including co-curricular and enrichment programs. Support school events and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and foster a sense of community.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A Bachelor’s degree and PGCE or B.Ed, or an equivalent teaching qualification.


At least 3 years of post-qualification teaching experience in the relevant subject area.


Experience in delivering the UK curriculum up to KS4 classes.


Proficiency in utilizing ICT in teaching practices.


An enhanced disclosure from the DBS or an equivalent authority.


High aspirations and expectations for all students.


A dedication to the holistic development of young individuals.


An open-minded attitude toward their work, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.


A genuine passion for education with a proven track record of success.
