About This Role

About the School:

The Royal Grammar School Guildford, Qatar (RGSGQ) is experiencing significant growth, and we are eager to recruit an exceptional Chemistry & Biology Teacher for Secondary to join one of the most esteemed British International schools in the Middle East.

RGSGQ has established a solid partnership with the prestigious RGS Guildford in the UK, an independent school with a long-standing tradition of delivering high-quality education. Additionally, we maintain strong connections with our international sister schools across the globe.

RGSGQ is a comprehensive British institution that offers a co-educational British curriculum for students aged 3 to 18. Since opening in September 2016, the school has grown to accommodate over 785 students on a campus located just 20 minutes from the Pearl and the new Lusail city. Our curriculum follows the English Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2, and 3, while at Key Stage 4, students have access to a wide array of IGCSE courses. For Post-16 education, we provide various AS levels. The school is renowned for its exceptional teaching and learning environment, complemented by outstanding sports facilities, including an astro turf, sports hall, and an outdoor swimming pool.

Values and Vision:

At RGSGQ, we are deeply committed to equipping our students for the challenges of a fast-evolving global landscape, while also laying the groundwork for their ambitious aspirations at university and beyond. Our educators foster and enhance transferable skills that prepare students for any path they choose: critical thinking, independence, creativity, resilience, self-motivation, collaboration, and the ability to lead or work effectively within a team.

Our enduring School Values— inclusivity, scholarship, integrity, respect, tenacity, and service—are woven into both curricular and extra-curricular activities. These principles ensure that RGSGQ students develop into humble, grounded individuals dedicated to making the most of every opportunity and positively impacting others. The RGSGQ offers a traditional British pastoral care system along with a wide range of extra-curricular activities, promoting a culture of high expectations and academic success for all students.
