ABOUT ALMADA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

ROLE
We are in search of a Cambridge Lower Secondary Mathematics teacher who is knowledgeable about the CPA method and adept at incorporating technology into the educational experience.
Start date: August 2026.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• A solid academic foundation in Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in educational environments.
• Proficient ICT skills, with the ability to create practical, engaging, and innovative lessons.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum for Lower Secondary and iGCSE.
• Excellent communication abilities in English, along with a willingness to learn Portuguese (if not already spoken).
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a cross-curricular teaching environment.
• A proactive attitude and attentiveness to inspire and engage students.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to accurately monitor individual student needs, progress, and development.
