We are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to deliver exceptional instruction aligned with the curriculum, fostering physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students from Foundation Stage through Year 11. Ideal candidates will also embody the MARK values, which are essential to our school community.
Job Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning
•
Provide high-quality PE lessons across various key stages in accordance with British curriculum standards.
•
Tailor instruction to cater to the diverse needs of all students, including both talented athletes and those who require additional assistance.
•
Track and evaluate student progress, offering regular feedback and reports to both students and their parents.
•
Exhibit strong teaching practices and play a positive role in enhancing the PE department.
•
Contribute to long-term planning initiatives that address the needs of students and the learning environment.
•
Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified to teach swimming, although this is not a mandatory requirement.
•
Team Contribution & Collaboration
•
Collaborate with the PE team to facilitate the delivery of a comprehensive and balanced sports program.
•
Engage in departmental planning, meetings, and school events.
•
Assist in organizing fixtures, competitions, and extracurricular sports activities; experience with DASSA is preferred but not required.
•
Nurture a positive, inclusive, and supportive team atmosphere.
•
A good sense of humor is essential for this role!

Parent & Community Engagement
•
Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents through consistent communication and engagement.
•
Act as a positive representative of the school within the community and support initiatives that uphold school values.

Compliance & Administration
•
Ensure adherence to KHDA requirements, school policies, and procedures.
•
Keep accurate records, reports, and documentation for inspections and reviews.
•
Promote the effective and responsible use of sports facilities and resources.
•
Professional Development & Accountability
•
Actively participate in the school's CPD and appraisal programs.
•
Collaborate closely with colleagues to support overarching school development priorities.
•
Stay updated on educational trends and developments relevant to the British curriculum and UAE regulations.
•
Report directly to the Head of Department and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the PE provision.
