About This Role
• Designs the yearly curriculum for the assigned grade level.
• Formulates lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and submits them to academic coordinators for review.
• Incorporates feedback from academic coordinators to make necessary adjustments to lesson plans.
• Stays informed about the latest educational tools, including technological advancements in classroom instruction, and integrates them into teaching practices.
• Creates stimulating and interactive learning experiences for students, while cultivating a classroom environment that supports effective learning.
• Prepares worksheets, handouts, and other educational resources that align with lesson plans and curriculum, as well as assessments and examinations.
• Ensures timely grading and feedback for assignments submitted by students.
• Evaluates, documents, and communicates the growth, progress, and achievements of students.
• Recognizes students who may need extra help, whether academically or otherwise, and ensures they receive appropriate support.
• Participates in extracurricular activities and engages in school events such as assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Prioritizes the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Works collaboratively with fellow educators to exchange innovative ideas, teaching strategies, content knowledge, and professional insights.
• Communicates with parents during Parent Teacher Meetings and as needed, offering feedback and insights regarding student performance.
