About This Role
Starting in September 2026, we are looking to recruit an exceptional Teacher of Physical Education to join our college community. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in teaching A Level Physical Education.
The selected individual will become part of a remarkable department that is both highly respected and productive. In 2025, our GCSE results were exceptional, with 100% of students achieving grades 9-5. Similarly, at A-Level, we had an impressive 80% of students attaining grades A*-C.
For the right individual, there is the possibility of an additional responsibility allowance for overseeing Post-16 A Level programs.
The opportunities that Physical Education provides for our students are fundamental to the ethos of our school. Therefore, this position is vital for the ongoing growth of Jumeirah College.
Candidates should possess a B.Ed. or a degree alongside a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, demonstrating outstanding subject expertise.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience with the National Curriculum for England is required.

Experience in teaching A Level Physical Education is essential. We are in search of a skilled, highly driven, and well-qualified professional. A proven history of exemplary teaching and learning is necessary, along with a thorough understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, and Exercise Physiology.

A belief that all students have the potential to excel, coupled with the enthusiasm and commitment to help them achieve their best.

Experience that will enhance our enriched curriculum program is also desired.
