Position Overview:
We invite passionate PE educators to express their interest in joining the Dubai American Academy community, with positions available starting August 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for High School Physical Education teachers who are committed to fostering curiosity, inspiring success, and supporting the achievements of every student at DAA.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Deliver dynamic and interactive PE lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
•
Create and implement innovative teaching strategies that spark a love for PE and promote critical thinking.
•
Collaborate with fellow educators to cultivate a positive and nurturing learning environment.
•
Ensure continuity in curriculum content delivery.
•
Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
•
Promote an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
•
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student development.
Successful candidates will possess:
•
A Bachelor of Education degree, or a relevant initial degree accompanied by a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in PE.
•
Demonstrable experience teaching High School PE, ideally within an American/IB curriculum setting.
•
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and experiential PE education.
•
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
•
The ability to foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
•
A commitment to continually enhance their teaching practices and deliver exceptional educational experiences for their students.
