ROLE SUMMARY:
St. Peter’s International School, situated in Palmela near Lisbon, caters to approximately 1,500 students ranging from 4 months to 18 years on a contemporary 37,000 m² campus. The institution provides a bilingual curriculum (Portuguese/English), Cambridge programs, and the International Baccalaureate, with boarding options available for older students. We are looking for a dedicated and highly qualified Cambridge Primary Teacher to implement the Cambridge Primary curriculum starting in August for the upcoming academic year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and differentiated lessons for a variety of learners.
•
Implement innovative teaching strategies, including inquiry-based learning and digital resources.
•
Evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback.
•
Participate in curriculum development and incorporate technology to enhance learning experiences.
•
Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment while supporting student well-being.
•
Collaborate with colleagues and get involved in school events and extracurricular activities.
•
Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to safeguarding policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A degree in Education or a related field (teaching qualification is preferred).
•
Experience with the Cambridge Primary curriculum (or similar international curricula).
•
A strong enthusiasm for inspiring young students and fostering both academic and personal development.
•
Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
•
Experience in an international or multicultural setting (preferred).
•
Proficiency in English and a commitment to student well-being.
