About This Role

We are seeking a positive and proactive teacher for a Year 5/6 classroom. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated teacher, who has a passion for education and a commitment to engaging learners. The potential for leadership also exists with the possibility of a fixed term management unit available in certain areas dependent on skills and experience - particularly Enviro.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Implement and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum.

  • Provide guidance and support to students, promoting their academic and social development.

  • Collaborate with parents, staff and the wider school community.


Requirements:



  • Fully registered or provisionally registered teacher with a current NZ work visa.

  • Proven leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum. Experience with The Code and Prime Maths is a bonus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
