The ideal candidate will take on a crucial role in forming and teaching within the Mathematics Department at Charterhouse Almaty, a distinguished British independent school scheduled to open in September 2026, in proud partnership with Charterhouse, UK, one of the illustrious institutions established in 1611.
Working under the guidance of the Head of Mathematics, the successful candidate will develop and deliver a dynamic curriculum that integrates academic rigor with intellectual curiosity, fostering fluency, problem-solving, logical reasoning, and a true enthusiasm for mathematics. This represents a unique chance to help build a world-class department from the ground up, ensuring that mathematics is integral to the school’s academic and intellectual endeavors.

The selected candidate will begin their role in August 2026 to assist in preparations for the school’s opening in September 2026.
Charterhouse Almaty is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young individuals, expecting all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will be subject to satisfactory police clearance from the candidate’s home country (issued within the last three months), three professional references, and full verification of qualifications.
The successful applicant will need to provide attested copies of their degree certificates, academic transcripts, and proof of full-time student status. These documents must be notarized, authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the candidate's home country, and legalized by the Kazakh Embassy. A valid medical certificate is also needed. The school’s HR Department will support overseas applicants throughout this process to ensure timely compliance with Kazakhstan’s immigration regulations.
