About This Role

Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a passionate, flexible, and dedicated Secondary Art Teacher to join our team in January 2025.

As a bilingual private school serving students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy offers the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. Ideal candidates will be highly collaborative team members who possess the enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to contribute to the development of Al Rabeeh Academy, with opportunities for internal advancement as the school grows.

Candidates must appreciate the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, particularly given our significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, adept at fostering open lines of communication with students, faculty, and parents. They should lead by example and actively engage in the Academy's extracurricular program.

Applicants should be fluent in English, hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and possess at least two years of experience teaching within schools that adhere to the National Curriculum of England.

Candidates must demonstrate the following:

• Robust subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK initiatives and developments in Art
• Ability and willingness to teach across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills alongside excellent subject expertise
• Capacity to foster creative learning and promote 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills
• Confidence in utilizing IT to enhance and broaden student learning experiences
• Experience in utilizing data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external evaluations to monitor student progress
• Essential experience in teaching EAL students
