The Role

Nga Pou Whirinaki o Whakaari RTLB Cluster 19 is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic NZ registered teacher with current curriculum knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Display knowledge of inclusive and effective classroom practice.


• Have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience at primary and/or secondary levels.


• Experience coaching and leading others is preferred.


• Possess a full, clean driver's licence and own car.


• RTLB experience and qualification is desirable; however, mandatory postgraduate training is provided.


• Start time is negotiable.


• The successful candidate will be based in Whakatāne.
