Physical Education Teacher - Secondary School - MYP/DP

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are in search of an exceptional Physical Education Teacher to join our team starting from August 18, 2025. We seek applicants who can inspire student inquiry and engagement, and those with experience in the IB curriculum, along with the ability to differentiate instruction, are highly preferred. The Role:

The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that ensure outstanding student learning aligned with the IB/PYP framework. The ideal candidate will exhibit a friendly and engaging personality, emphasizing well-resourced lessons that foster every child's right to learn in a warm yet challenging environment. Building strong relationships with students, the school community, and the wider community will be key. The successful teacher will confidently deliver lessons while helping to develop students' confidence and self-esteem.

Requirements:

• A teaching qualification in Physical Education.
• A valid American Teaching License, PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE.
• At least 2-3 years of proven teaching experience, preferably within an IB school.
• A professional commitment to successfully implementing an enriched IB/PYP curriculum.
• High proficiency in IT skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for promoting sports through extracurricular activities and competitions.
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to the overall welfare of the school.
