Role Overview:

In the capacity of a PE Mentor, you will be instrumental in delivering an engaging and comprehensive physical education curriculum spanning both primary and secondary levels. Equipped with cutting-edge facilities and resources, you will motivate learners to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle while honing essential skills such as collaboration, resilience, and a growth mindset.

Core Responsibilities:

• Subject Knowledge: Provide high-quality PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of students, fostering curiosity and creativity.
• Curriculum Design and Adaptation: Develop and execute engaging learning experiences that align with the British National Curriculum and extend through Citizens’ innovative methods.
• Learning and Teaching: Establish a positive, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that supports students' growth in physical education.
• Collaboration and Community: Partner with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to enrich the overall PE experience for students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of teaching PE in a similar environment, demonstrating a proven capacity to innovate and adapt the curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
• Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, alongside a dedication to fostering inclusivity and well-being.
