Our Story

Bloom World Academy opened its doors in August 2022, providing education for children aged three to 18 years. The school has quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach, transforming traditional education in Dubai for the benefit of students, families, and educators alike.

At Bloom World Academy, we meticulously consider every facet of learning and teaching—examining our methods, motivations, and their outcomes. This dedication has led to several pioneering initiatives in the UAE, including being the first school to commence at 9am, allowing each student and their family to customize their timetable (learning pathways), and introducing a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) that shares student performance and progress with families multiple times a year.

Above all, BWA prioritizes family involvement—encouraging parents to engage with the school community, work from our community café, attend regular workshops, and participate in our weekly celebratory forum.

Learning Support Teacher - the Position

Bloom World Academy is in search of imaginative and skilled practitioners for the role of Learning Support Teacher.

In this position, you will be an integral member of our school's Integra team, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum for every student. A significant aspect of your role involves working directly with individual students in the classroom while also collaborating with their teachers and families to promote a unified approach for student benefit. Strong subject knowledge in inclusive practices and an understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies are essential.

As an IB educator, you should demonstrate a clear commitment to fostering international mindedness in your classroom and facilitating its growth throughout the school. Experience with or a solid understanding of a student-centered, inquiry-based learning approach is required. Candidates must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and nurture professional relationships, alongside excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about empowering each child to achieve their full potential and creating inclusive classroom environments where every student can thrive.

As a practitioner, you should possess knowledge and experience in designing rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences, have a solid grasp of assessment and its application in the classroom, and most importantly, a fervor for supporting and inspiring students to reach their individual potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

- Proficient to advanced-level English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with a PGCE in Education with QTS or a comparable qualification
- A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position at a reputable school
- A strong and unwavering commitment to ensuring our school is fully inclusive and supportive of all students
- Exhibits professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Intercultural awareness, well-developed communication skills, and eagerness to engage with students and parents
