Role overview:

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching and Learning Lead Teacher to join the team at The Pines Primary School.

Alongside responsibility for the academic achievement and pastoral care of your class, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will contribute to curriculum and assessment development, support and influence colleagues’ practice, monitor standards and pupil outcomes, and contribute to whole-school improvement.

This role carries a TLR 2.1 in recognition of the sustained leadership responsibilities beyond the postholder’s own class.

The successful candidate will:

hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
have proven successful teaching experience and a strong understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment
have high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to securing strong outcomes
be able to support and influence colleagues through modelling, coaching and professional dialogue
have strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
be committed to safeguarding, inclusion and the wider life of the school
