Title: Secondary History Teacher
DSB is on the lookout for a History teacher to join our growing Humanities department. This opening has come about due to the unexpected departure of our former teacher who is relocating with her family. History is a highly sought-after subject at our school, and we are keen to expand our international perspectives, especially in Key Stage 3. The new hire will share the teaching schedule with the Head of Secondary, who specializes in History. There may also be an opportunity for the teacher to support another subject, based on their expertise as discussed in the interview. Candidates should ideally possess some or all of the following qualifications:
• Experience teaching IBDP or, at a minimum, A level/AP History
• A recognized teaching qualification
• Experience in teaching various age groups and abilities within Secondary education
• Experience with students for whom English is an additional language is preferred.
