About BISAK:
BISAK is one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Saudi Arabia. The school transitioned to a new campus after operating at its previous site for 22 years (1998-2018). Our current campus is situated in the newly developed residential area of As Sadafah in Al Khobar.
As a co-educational international school, BISAK offers a British-style education to around 930 students aged 3 to 18. The school operates as a private, non-profit institution under Saudi Arabian law and is registered with the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia as a ‘Foreign Community School.’ It is also recognized by the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK.
BISAK is committed to delivering the highest quality British education while enriching students' experiences with the local culture. The school’s distinctive British character is a significant draw for families and staff, complemented by its excellent standing with the Ministry of Education, KSA. Our diverse community is a source of pride, with students representing over 50 nationalities, making their experience truly unique. Parents value the school's innovative teaching methods and its alignment with current UK and international educational initiatives, as reflected in their appreciative communications.
Our students achieve high standards academically and beyond, guided by our core values:
B - Belief – fostering positive attitudes, consideration, and support for others.
I - Internationalism – developing global citizenship.
S - Success – embracing continuous learning in all endeavors.
A - Aspiration – believing that nothing is impossible.
K - Knowledge – understanding ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
We are a selective school, requiring all students to undergo an admission and assessment process to meet our minimum expectations for enrollment. Consequently, we do not have a dedicated SEN department. While English is not the first language for many of our pupils, they must demonstrate a good level of English proficiency upon entry, so extensive support is typically unnecessary. However, we do offer support across the curriculum and specifically in English lessons when needed.
