ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Skownan School serves students from Nursery to Grade 9, accommodating 130 pupils, supported by 10 teaching staff and 17 support staff. The school is situated in Skownan, roughly an hour and a half northeast of Dauphin. The local area features essential amenities such as a gas bar, convenience store, restaurant, and a health centre. The economy thrives on hunting, fishing, and eco-tourism activities.

WHAT YOU BRING
• A Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for it).
• Comprehensive understanding of provincial curricula.
• Prior teaching experience.
• Familiarity and experience with technology used in schools.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset).
• Experience in a northern community (considered an asset).
