About This Role
Cairo English School, a leading British International School located in Cairo, Egypt, is seeking an experienced and passionate Art Teacher (KS3-KS5) to join our team starting August 2025. Our institution is an all-through school catering to students from Early Years to Year 12, with an enrollment of over 2,000 students. Positioned in New Cairo, we benefit from outstanding facilities and are conveniently located just 10 minutes from Cairo Airport and 45 minutes from Downtown.
We hold full accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and are recognized as an authorized IB World School. Additionally, we are part of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME), British Schools Overseas (BSO), and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). Our curriculum is aligned with the English National Curriculum, culminating in IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 10. Following their IGCSE success, students may opt for A Levels or pursue the IB Diploma. The BSO’s recent inspection report highlights that “Cairo English School provides a high-quality education that meets the needs of its pupils,” noting the numerous outstanding features and the ongoing development facilitated by the dedication of our leadership team. The school is currently oversubscribed, as reported in February 2022.
