About This Role

Job Purpose

Education, Training, and Qualifications

• A relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification that offers QTS.

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England, including EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, IGCSE/GCSE, and A Levels, as relevant.

• Experience within the pertinent educational phases.

• A proven history of engaging in meaningful and rigorous continuing professional development.

Knowledge and Experience

• A minimum of two years of teaching experience.

• Current knowledge of all relevant safeguarding policies and practices.

• Competence in effectively using ICT to enhance student learning.

• Active and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.

• Previous experience or familiarity with working with students for whom English is an additional language.

Personal Qualities

• Respect for all members of the school community, regardless of their role, gender, age, or ethnic background.

• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a strong commitment to holistic education.

• The ability to inspire students fueled by a true passion for learning and the drive to guide them towards exceptional academic success.

• Demonstrates empathy, humility, and a sincere concern for children, taking the time to listen and encourage them.

Other

• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or a police check (for applicants who have not previously worked in the UK) with no issues regarding suitability to work with children.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
