About This Role

Job Purpose:

We are looking to hire a Head of Faculty for Work Related Learning at the Secondary School, beginning in August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire range of subjects within this faculty, which includes:

• Business

• Economics

• ICT

• Computer Science

• Additionally, overseeing all BTEC courses throughout the school.

The ideal applicant will possess a proven history of delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to reach their goals.

This position calls for a creative and forward-thinking leader who is passionate about curriculum development and capable of guiding a diverse and dynamic team. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership team and play a significant role in the overall improvement of the school.

The role is multifaceted and demanding, requiring:

You will:

• Be a qualified teacher

• Hold a relevant degree in Business or a related field

• Have prior experience leading a department or faculty, or be prepared to take on a faculty leadership role

• Possess proven experience teaching one or more subjects in the faculty at GCSE/A Level/BTEC

• Keep abreast of current best practices in teaching and learning

• Exhibit excellent subject knowledge and curriculum awareness

• Consider broader curriculum developments, especially in digital innovation

• Engage in ongoing professional development and share insights with colleagues

• Support and promote the school’s commitment to e-safety

Compensation

63.875 € - 91.442 € per year (Competitive Salary, CPD, Luncheon Voucher and Relocation Package Plus)
