In your role as Assistant SEN Coordinator (Assistant SENCo) at our institution, you will be instrumental in assisting teaching staff to modify their approaches and techniques to ensure that students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) reach their utmost potential. You will collaborate closely with the School Psychologist and the Head of Inclusion to deliver personalized support and cultivate an inclusive educational atmosphere for everyone.

Qualifications:


Relevant qualifications in Education and SEND studies.


Preferred: a recognized UK qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be complemented by a subject-related Bachelor’s Degree).


Greek applicants should possess a Bachelor’s in Primary Education or Special Education.

Successful candidates must have:


Relevant knowledge and experience of the British curriculum.


A flexible and creative approach to working within an inclusive setting.


A belief in the ability of all students to excel, along with the passion and determination to facilitate their success.


A dedication to participating in the broader school community.

Desirable attributes:


Experience supporting students in multilingual and multicultural contexts.
