Whistler Waldorf School is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Math and Science Teacher for our Junior High program (Grades 9–10). This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) role starting in September, offering a salary in the range of $59,000–$86,000 CAD annually*, based on experience, alongside avenues for professional advancement and development.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Certification and Education
A valid BC teaching certification or eligibility to apply, coupled with a Bachelor of Education or a recognized equivalent qualification. International credentials may be assessed for equivalency.

Teaching Experience
While relevant teaching experience is preferred, we encourage early-career and newly qualified educators to apply.

Work Authorization
Candidates must already have legal authorization to work in Canada or have submitted their work visa or permit application and be awaiting approval. Since this role commences in September, individuals who have not initiated the work authorization process may not be able to start on time.

Compensation

59.000 CAD - 86.000 CAD per year (WWS offers a competitive salary commensurate on relevant education and experience, as well as a comprehensive compensation package including health benefits, life/disability insurance, pension support and more.)
