About This Role

We are currently in search of a committed DP and MYP Chemistry Teacher to become a member of our Science Department. This role provides the chance to instruct students in the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) Chemistry at the secondary school level.

The responsibilities of this role include delivering captivating chemistry lessons that adhere to the IB curriculum, encouraging student inquiry and critical thinking, evaluating student progress, collaborating with fellow educators, and contributing to the enhancement of our science program.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in secondary education
- Essential experience in teaching IB DP Chemistry; familiarity with MYP Science is a plus
- Robust understanding of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques
- Capability to create lesson plans that encourage inquiry-based learning
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are beneficial
