Inherited from 450 years of educational excellence at Harrow School, UK, Asia International School Limited (AISL) boasts over 20 years of experience in the education sector, having established international schools in Bangkok (1998), Beijing (2005), Hong Kong (2012), and Shanghai (2016).

Harrow International School (HIS) and Harrow LiDe School Haikou are pivotal projects for the Hainan government, aiming to develop Haikou into a leading international education center. Harrow Haikou stands as the first globally recognized educational institution in the province, set to reshape the standards of high-quality education throughout the region.

Situated strategically in the Jiangdong District, north of Jiangdong Avenue and south of Linhai Third Road, Harrow Haikou offers K-12 international and bilingual education for both local and foreign day and boarding students. The schools commenced operations in September 2020.

We are currently on the lookout for exceptional staff for positions starting in August 2025. Selected candidates will receive two-year renewable contracts with highly attractive employment terms and excellent working conditions.

We invite applications from professionals in the UK state and independent sectors as well as those currently working internationally. There may be opportunities to engage with our boarding students.

Criteria for Application

• Relevant degree with UK PGCE or another teaching qualification that provides QTS
• At least two years of teaching experience
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England, including IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as applicable
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic education
• High level of professionalism and a focus on children's well-being
• Recent and continuous participation in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all individuals within the school community, regardless of their position, age, or ethnic background
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• A positive and solution-oriented approach to professional life
• A clean International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or police check (for those who have not worked in the UK) with no concerns regarding suitability to work with children
